Manor by the Lake, Gloucestershire

Manor By The Lake is a grand manor house located on the outskirts of Cheltenham and set within lovely grounds. Couples can stay in luxurious bedrooms within the main house or in cottages within the grounds. There’s a very cool “Rock Bar” which is perfect for the guys to hang out in before greeting the wedding guests. Ceremonies are conducted in a splendid state room with duel aspect windows overlook the gardens. The wedding breakfast is held in a purpose built “Ball Room” which converts to a great party space in the evening. 

We always aim to make our portrait sessions as fun as possible to achieve "genuine" photos. We don't like forcing our couples into awkward poses and prefer to capture more natural looking images. The Manor has stunning grounds which are lit at night making them ideal for more than one portrait session - in sunlight and after dark. When we shot here recently, we spent time setting up off-camera-flash lighting in the evening for colourful shots on the characterful bridge over the lake and of the delightful bandstand.
