Covid was never going to stop this wedding as it was always a small celebration but the setting was huge - on the shores of Ullswater, Cumbria.
Both of us at October James Photography love travelling all over the country and further afield to photograph beautiful weddings. The Lake District is one of our favourite parts of the country so we spent a week there with Penny and Matt's lovely wedding in the middle. We stayed in a lovely cottage in the north of the lakes and braved the rainy weather with some long walks around the epic landscape
The weather was kind to us for the wedding with plenty of dry spells during which we could capture some wonderful portraits - James even got the waders on to shoot the newlyweds in a boat on the lake.
Jess and Toby needed no encouragement to have fun and silliness at Old Hunstanton Beach and their photos look genuine and bring a smile as a result.
